A mattress protector is one of those purchases you want to make once and then forget about. They work quietly in the background of a busy life (and restful sleep) to keep your mattress looking its best and lasting longer, as long as they're effective.
That is why, as Sleep Editor here at , I usually don't suggest scrimping when choosing one for your sleep space. But at just $23.99, the BEDLORE Mattress Protector, available at Amazon, is making me question that rule.
It's proof that the best mattress protectors needn't be expensive, with a one hundred percent waterproof design for protecting guest beds over the holiday hosting season.
Available in eight sizes, including Queen RV, this mattress protector is designed to fit mattresses up to 18 inches thick.
Once you've invested in one of the best mattresses, which tend to come with a sizable price tag, it's important to protect your investment with a suitable protector. With the budget-friendly BEDLORE Mattress Protector, available at Amazon, this has never been easier.
With a quilted design to keep the filling evenly lofty without slipping and sliding, and available, unusually, in eight colors, including a pretty sky blue, it's one of the highest-rated protectors I've ever come across.
For example, Samone refers to it as a 'holy grail mattress protector,' explaining that it's the 'most fantastic' protector they've ever used, 'and I've tested a lot.
'It’s super soft yet cool to the touch, makes no noise when you move around, tested and verified 100 per cent waterproof, isn’t bulky, and doesn’t melt in my dryer. It’s also convenient [that you] can get it in other colors to hide stains better over time. Planning on buying for all the beds in my house.'
Similarly, Tracy assures that it's 'the best' waterproof mattress protector they've tried. 'These mattress protectors are absolutely wonderful! We own eight of them between our main residence and vacation home, and we’ll definitely continue purchasing them as needed,' they explain. 'They have a waterproof lining underneath, but unlike so many other waterproof mattress protectors, they aren’t crinkly or crunchy at all. The top even has a light padding to it that makes them really comfortable.
'We’ve had picky sleepers who normally can’t stand waterproof mattress protectors use these with absolutely no complaints! They also wash up beautifully, which is another huge plus. Great quality, comfortable, and practical. I can’t recommend these enough!'
You won't need to worry about it popping off your mattress or coming loose in the night, either. With a 360° elastic skirt that's designed to fit mattresses up to 18 inches deep, it will stay put, even as you swap sleeping positions, all night long.
With the holidays just around the corner, this is the protector I'd pick up for any guest spaces. It's affordable, effective, and will last for seasons to come.
