Fragrancing your home often looks like lighting a candle or switching on an essential oil diffuser. But as I've found out, your cleaning products can actually do the heavy lifting for you instead.

Mrs. Meyer's has long been my product line of choice for leaving my home sparkling without any harsh or toxic chemicals, and the new fall scents − my favorite being the Fall Leaves Multi-Surface Cleaner, available at Amazon − filled my home with fragrance after cleaning, with no extra effort required.

They may not be the most obvious way to make your home smell like fall, but I'm making a case for freshening your surfaces and scenting your space at the same time.

I like (or accept) my cleaning duties as much as the next person, but I've found that using fall cleaning products is an easy way to boost my motivation and make freshening my home more enjoyable. Among the options for 2026, the Mrs. Meyer's collection has quickly found its way into my weekly routine.

This isn't the first time I've trialed the brand. I've previously used the spring non-toxic cleaning collection, and rely on the Mrs. Meyer's rose room spray to fragrance my bedroom. But as fall is probably my favorite time of the year, the new collection has found a place in my heart more than any other.

It sounds dramatic for some cleaning products, I know, but I'm a lover of all things home fragrance, so I appreciate cleaning supplies that do double duty. Once I cleaned my kitchen and bathroom with the Fall Leaves Multi-Surface Cleaner, available at Amazon, it really did make my home smell nice. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say it made my home smell − high praise for a cleaning spray that costs less than five dollars right now.

The products are Leaping Bunny-certified cruelty-free, made with essential oils, and free of any parabens, phthalates, glycol solvents, phosphates, or artificial colors. This gives me the confidence that my home is left clean, without the concern of introducing toxic ingredients into my space, which is something I always strive to avoid.
